Welcome to today’s Transfer Update…
According to a report from the Independent, Arsenal are hoping to sign Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey before tonight’s deadline.
Partey has been a target for the Gunners all summer but Arsenal have so far failed to meet his release clause. As per the report, Arsenal are aiming to sign at least one player before the 11pm deadline and with the Aouar deal seemingly gone cold, Partey looks to be Arsenal’s primary target.

A report from Goal.com has suggested that Arsenal are looking to sell defender Sead Kolasinac to Bayer Leverkusen for around £9m.
Arsenal signed the 27-year-old on a free transfer back in 2017 and are now looking to raise funds that would allow them to get a last minute deal for a midfield player over the line.
ESPN have reported that Arsenal ‘desperate’ to bring in Chelsea midfielder Jorginho before the deadline.
Arsenal have previously expressed interest in the midfielder but are yet to make a bid. If Arsenal aren’t able to get their other targets in, they may well look to sign Jorginho before 11pm tonight.
