Transfer Update: Arsenal considering loan move for William Saliba

A report from the outlet Telefoot has claimed that Arsenal have entered into talks with French side Rennes over a potential loan move for William Saliba.

The 19-year-old defender returned to Arsenal this summer after a loan spell at Saint-Étienne but is yet to make an appearance for the Gunners. As per the report, Rennes are reportedly looking to bring the defender in on loan to further sure up their defence.

According to L’Equipe, Arsenal summer target Houssem Aouar is eager to leave Ligue 1 despite interest for Pairs Saint Germain.

It is reported that the midfielder would prefer a move to the Premier League which would make Arsenal the favourites to sign him before the end of the window. At the moment, Arsenal are failing to meet Lyon’s cash demands and so the transfer remains at a standstill.

Football London have reported that Crystal Palace, Southampton and Brighton are all interested in signing Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson on loan. The 20-year-old has appeared in the EFL Cup and Community Shield for Arsenal this season but is yet to feature in the Premier League.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta could be set to send the youngster on another loan move to further his development.
