Transfer Update: Rúnar Rúnarsson to sign 5-year deal with Arsenal

According to a report from DV in Iceland, goalkeeper Rúnar Rúnarsson is about to sign a 5-year deal with Arsenal. The Icelandic international is said to have completed a medical with the club on Monday.

The 25-year-old made 11 appearances for Dijon in Ligue 1 last season and looks as though he will replace Emi Martinez in a deal that will cost Arsenal around £1.5m.

A report from Gianlucadimarzio.com has claimed that Arsenal have made contact with Chinese side SH Shenhua over the availability of winger El Shaarawy.

As per the report Arsenal are amongst other clubs pursuing the Italian winger who will be allowed to leave on loan this summer.

Sky Sports have reported that Arsenal and Torino are currently in talks over a deal that would see Lucas Torreira join the Serie A side on loan with a hope to make the deal permanent next season.

Torreira has expressed his desire to return to Italy and Arsenal are looking to free up space in the hope of signing the likes of Partey or Aouar.
