Transfer Update: Draxler to be offered to Arsenal as part of Guendouzi deal

Welcome to today’s Transfer Update…

According to a report from French outlet L’Equipe, Paris-Saint-Germain are ready to offer Julian Draxler to Arsenal as part of a deal that would see them land French midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.

Though it looks as though Guendouzi may have returned to training with the senior team, PSG are supposedly determined to land the 21-year-old this transfer window.

A report from the Daily Mail has claimed that Brentford goalkeeper David Raya is ready to hand in a transfer request in an attempt to force a move to Arsenal.

With Emi Martinez heavily rumored to be leaving Arsenal in the coming weeks, David Raya could well be brought in as his replacement.

The Metro has suggested that Arsenal are likely to miss out on transfer target Houssem Aouar as Lyon hold firm on their valuation of the player.

As per the report, Lyon are demanding that £54.5m be paid in full if any club is to sign the midfielder and at the moment Arsenal are unwilling. With other clubs interested in Aouar, Arsenal’s hesitation could see him move somewhere else.
